Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Do students need special shoes for dance classes?
A. We recommend bare feet for our 3-8 year old students to keep classes more affordable for you. The only exception is Tap Dance where students need tan tap shoes. Students enroled in Intermediate Jazz/Funk and Cheer Team will also need black jazz shoes.
Q. What do kids wear for Dance Classes?
A. Something they feel good in that is stretchy and easy to move in. Our 3-8 year old students arrive to dance class in anything from a fairy dress, to a ballet outfit, to shorts and a t-shirt, and even our super cute Dance Mount Isa dance dress. We don’t mind as long as they are safe and having fun.
Q. Can parents watch classes at Dance Mount Isa?
A. Yes! We have a parent watching area right next to our dance space where parents and siblings can stay and watch classes. We do ask that they stay out of the class area for safety reasons and to allow all students to get the most value from their classes.
